I got my Golden Brick today

In late September, I won the Premio Ladrillo de Oro (Golden Brick Award) for the intentionally worst article about the science fiction genre -- written in Spanish, of course. It was sponsored by the Días de Vino y Fandom website, and it was presented at Spain's national SF convention, which unfortunately I could not attend.

Today, the website's founder, Francisco Fernández, came to Madrid and presented the lovely trophy, modeled after the Ignotus Award, Spain's equivalent of the Hugo. I also received seven books, some by Ignotus-winning authors.
