More tourist adventures

The children have recovered from their stomach flu, and the adults have recovered from the very long, tense Spain-Italy soccer game last night in the European Cup quarter-finals (¡Olé España! We won!). We spent the afternoon exploring old Madrid.

Obviously this will be of more interest those who know my niece and nephew, who are here on vacation. They are shown here expressing their impressions of Spain via interpretive dance. The Royal Palace is in the background.

Tomorrow we go mountain climbing (see userpic of the Sierra Guadarrama). The train ride to and up the mountains will be half the fun.
